Preacher - Perfect !!

Hi,

Did you ever wonder 'who corects the preachers???'

I did and do. I have to say first, that I am not perfect. I also say this that I am very very spirutual and do not do anything ( most ) thing without getting an answer from the Lord. I love the Lord and He is my Ruler.

I always have been a rebel. But, once the Lord says 'NO', I stop. This is who I am and the Lord is still working on me.

But, I some times have to stop myself from talking about my life or feelings to preachers. They listen to us soo attentively, give us an answer that does not help us and then on the next sunday they preach to you about how wrong you are in doing such and such thing... Some times they even use your own words against you.

Preachers -if you are doing so then you are a HYPOCRITE.

you always are eager to correct us, but never once wonder how your life is???

Just because you have a degree in theology does not make you perfect.

If you want to correct or admonish someone them assess them first. what kind of a person he/she is? Pray about it and ask the Lord for wisdom and guidance.

Ask the Lord to lead you in at the right moment, then talk to them privately. Tell them that you are also not perfect and a work in progress. Then, tell them what the Lord has told you to tell.

Please for heavens sake do not try to sit on the judgement throne of the Lord. It is not your place and Lord never told you to do so. That is the old testament. Lord Jesus is all about love and compassion.

So, next time I am insulted by a preacher in his sermon 'about me', I am not attending that church again.

Chirst the head of the church

Few days ago, I was watching a chirstian TV show. The preacher was talking about Chirst - the head of the church.
What was interesting about it was the way he put it.
In Revelation we read about cherubs under the judgement seat of the Lord. These cherubs have four heads. all the beings in the bible has their own identily but not the cherubs. they have four heads.
there are four gospels and in these 4 gospels the disciples describe Lord Jesus with a different name. In the first gospel, Mathew says that the Lord is the 'Lion of Judah'. and the first head of a cherub is a lion's head.
In the second gospel, Mark describes Lord as a 'son of man'. the second head of the cherub is a man's head.
Luke in the third gospel describes the Lord as a servant. the third head of a cherub is a bull's head (which is a servant to man).
John in the fourth gospel says that the Lord is 'ascended from above'. and the fourth head of the cherub is an eagle.
So.... as a cherub gets its identity as four heads which are christ Jesus. so also we will have an identity when Christ is our head.
I liked the way he connected the cherub's head with the gospels. I think what he said is true. I want to add to that and say the following :
Even though we play different roles in our lives - like father, son, employee, comunity member, citizen etc., we will be able to succeed in all these roles or heads when the Lord is our head in all the roles.
Lord, I want to end this with a prayer. Please be my head in all the roles that I play in life. Amen

Why this blog???

I am a chirstian with stong spiritual views and I am still figuring out what I want out of religion.
I don't think I have to figure out what I want from God. 'cause I ask Him every moment of my life.

Well, since my childhood i always wanted to be closser to God and be blessed by Him. if ever i sang a song completly without looking at the lyrics.... i was happy thinking i was a step closser to God.

So, the reason why i want to write this blog is to figure out where i stand as a christian. i want to evaluate and see if i am a religious person or a spiritual one? if i am genuine or a hypochrite?
and how will i do that???
by judging others. Ha!
wonderful..... sounds good to me.

so before i start filling my blog with criticism, i will first read some hypochrite's writings and give my rating of their hypochrisy....
